I got a big problem on my ball nut that is mounted vertically on my Z axis. After a while the little ball bearings would simple drop off from the ball nut ( i use fsi type ball nut) can someone please give me the solution to this? |

The teflon ring got crooked because the balls came out, not the other way around. This was probably caused by not loading the ballnut correctly on the screw when it was assembled or that the nut got run off of the screw enough that some balls came out of the cross-over button circuitry. Either way, this configuration ballnut/screw is not a good one to learn on. I would strongly suggest that you take it to a ballscrew repair facility for a bearing ball reload. |
