I have basically decided on a desktop machine 48"x36" outside dimensions.
I need to choose lead screws. I know about ACME screws but dont want to spend the money on a company that I dont know (chinese) so that leaves regular threaded rod. Could someone suggest the relationship between pitch and accuracy. I am thinking that a courser screw might be the way to go.
unless someone could recommend these from ebay
