Did you figure this out? I have the exact same problem as you. My motors only have four wires red, blue, yellow, black and Leadshine's wiring diagram only shows an eight wire hook-up.
I recently purchased 4 steppers motors 86HS45D and a MX4660 from XZero CNC
My question is that the 4 cables ( Blue, Yellow, Red and Black ) are not clearly connected to A+ A- etc....in Leadshine Datasheet.
Can you help me please?
Thanks,
Vincent

You can take a look Leadshine MX4660hm V1.1. There are some instructions on how to wire 4,6 and 8 leads motors. I used the same type 8 leads motors. All run well.
If you do not find exact instruction for those motors, do this: Use a multimeter set to Ohms or continuity (easiest), I use the beeper. test between wires any two that have continuity or low ohms is a coil. wire first two to a and second 2 to b. if the motor rotates opposite direction from what you desire, swap the wires on B (B+ to B-)

Thanks for the reply guys. I contacted Leadshine and they sent me the diagram for the 86HS45D motors. I have included it in this post for those interested.
Thank you !!
