Does anyone know of a single line font in LazyCams font database? I have tried many of the fonts that "look" like they should be single line and havent found one yet? Or is this a LazyCam setting I am missing? Thanks |

| Don't use LazyCAM, but I believe it uses the standard Windows Truetype fonts. Try installing these and see if they work. http://www.featurecam.com/general/su...rave_fonts.asp

| And no, it's not an easy question. It's been asked here hundreds of times, and other then these fonts, there is no easy answer.

| If it is a FONT, it is going to cut an outline of the letters. I found a solution to this problem, by actually creating drawings of different fonts. What I mean, is lines, and arcs drawn in CorelDRAW (a vector-based drawing program), and then grouped together to create each individual letter. I just store the file containing the drawn fonts, and click and drag them into position for any engravings I need lettering for. It's a real tedious way of doing things, and it helps to be a Typographer to get the letter spacing and kerning correct. But the results are beautiful, once they are engraved. |
