| Final "cleanup" pass in L.C. Someone has this figured out, I'm sure: What about making the final pass... the "cleanup" pass at full part depth to eliminate the step-down marks on the part. I machine MDF and wood. Assuming this would need to be accounted for in the offset. Is it as easy as generating another offset and placing it on different layer with another tool assignment? Also, who knows how to keep the Z from going to rapid height between sequential passes on the same path? Is there a way just to make it step down? Also... thank you! Every time I ask a question on this forum, I get get great help, and fast. I wish I knew enough to reciprocate... - Eric |
