| Can't get multiple passes in v3.0 I've tried setting the cut depth to 0.5 units and the cut/pass to 0.0625 units, but I only get an output of one pass at 0.5 units. I must be missing something somewhere, but I don't recall having this problem with earlier versions. Help! |

| What if you set the cut depth to -0.5?

| finally figured it out. Had to set both Cut Start to 0.5 and the cut depth to 0.5 (not -.5, tried that too) Then let the tool setting of depth/pass be used to determine how many times the loop had to be made to get all the way through. NOT intuitive at all because it doesn't make any sense! One would assume Cut start to be at the surface and the cut depth to be where you finish. To make matters worse, the graphic is misleading on the Layers tab. I'll REALLY be glad when a manual gets out or at least some later vids. |
