Hello,
Have NO IDEAS about quality of this equipment, just have questions for better understanding:
1) How you have found this company?
2) What do you want to do with laser?

Hello to all the forum members....i have been reading all the info so generously provided from the members here.
Well…after some extensive reading here in the forum and research (price, options, quality of website info ect )..... i found through ALIBABA .....and I decided on JQ Laser ...JQ1060…( Pacey was the sales person very helpful) I hope the after sales service is just as good.
I will be making payment the next couple of days ..and I hope it all turns out good.
I will post how things unfold…..and I hope my buying experience (good or bad ) will be of some help to other forum members.
I paid for it 4 days ago.....i was notified that the payment was received ....i made some changes (requests) after the payment was sent and they were done.
Email replies on aditional info are on time
So far no problems
So Have you received your laser yet?
are you happy with it?

Well ...i was notified by the shipping co. that the boat arived today (22-6-2010) ....my customs agent said it should be in my store next week .
I will update once i unpack it.
MUST BE GOOD ONE ??????????
Maybe the boat already left and they had to wait a month for the next boat going to greece.. That's what rabbit laser told me that I should accept the documents quick or I had to wait for a month for the next boat.. that was to the busy rotterdam port so I can imagine to greece will take longer.
Hi...
What do you think of a good nesting software that can really work?...
must be a pretty slow boat.
" the boat arived today (22-6-2010) "
That is over three months ago????
What a load of BS !
He also got it a week later according to his posting so it was shipped around april I guess.

Well ,
I have just ordered the JQ 1490 dual laser heads , 150 watt and 60 watt, (FROM JQ LASER)
I will be documenting here on CNC Zone the quality of product and after sales service.
Due for delivery in mid to late December 2010.
SO FAR SO GOOD.
To start with
The operating manual is written reasonable well ,Lacking in a little detail
However written better (English) than what I have seen in the past.
Stay Tuned????????

Problem with JQ Laser .
Ok ,first the machine is 1690 (160cm x axis travel) dual head (60w and 200w). but with USA lents and mirors
200w for cuting.
60w for engraving:
when engraving,
my problem is with the deep of engraving. have a look at the zoomed picture. engraved line has not the same deph .
at the begin and at the end of eatch engraved lines,
due to the big X travel (160cm) my backlach setting in the controler is :
0.35 from 200 to 300 mm/s
0.45 from 300 to 400 mm/s.
0.45 from 400 to 500 mm/s.
Have you any idea ?
I was thinking to remplace the laser power supply with a non chinese model (a better quality ).

Hi Myrko,
I would love to help ,but I dont have much knowledge on engraving with laser,I have Cnc Router so this laser is all new to me.Maybe soon I will be able to?
First ,your engraving looks pretty good to me , can you show where there are problems,
I am sorry But I cant see it .It Looks Great.
Here on CNC Zone ,There are alot of very experienced people that could
help,just ask.
The worst that could happen is, no one answers, Nothing lost?
Regards
GR
Myrko,
This looks very similar to something I was mentioning in another thread.when engraving,
my problem is with the deep of engraving. have a look at the zoomed picture. engraved line has not the same deph .
at the begin and at the end of eatch engraved lines,
Cutting depth is related to power and speed. When the axis slows towards the end of its travel (deceleration) the available laser power has to be reduced else the depth of penetration will increase. Also the laser power has to be increased in proportion to speed as the axis accelerates at the beginning of the next raster line. This function is controlled within the firmware of the controller and your problem may not be related to the power supply at all.
Try a few test pieces a various speeds and see if you can find a sweet spot.
Tweakie.
CNC is only limited by our imagination.
