urgent request - install lasercut 5.1

Hi everyone
apologies for the demanding title - i have checked through the forum but cant find the answer on any earlier posts.

what has happened is that some wise guy has stolen my laptop with lasercut5.1 installed so i am desperately trying to install on another machine.

fortunately i have the softdog and the CD

i have tried two other laptops, but keep getting the same error:-
the installation appears to be ok but when i go to open lasercut 5.1 it appears for a brief moment, i get a curious message " right" in a small window then the program disappears.

has anybody seen this before?



i am a little anxious because i need to complete a job for tomorrow morning.

Is the softdog locked to one particular computer?

4 hours of messing about and have managed to sort it.

had to go back to yesterday system restore to remove the failed softdog installations and lasercut system changes.

then re-installed to C:\LaserCut51 not C:\program files\laser cut......



this seems so stupid, impossible even, but in this case it prevented from working?


sorry for coming on the forum waving my hands about in a panic.
