How to fix table on HX 3040

Someone have overadjusted the table in our HX3040 and wound it too far down. It has now jammed and seems to have disconnected the adjuster knob from the rest of the legs. I assume there is some sort of belt drive connecting the legs that has fallen off. There dosen't seem to be any obvious way to get into the table.
Any ideas how to dismantle the table so I can get into the adjuster mechanism?

This happened to me too, I managed to get it working again by twisting one of the other legs by hand.

I had a problem where because they did not clean out the machine after they drilled the holes on it and some swarf got stuck in threads of the table machanism. So I took the screws out the the top of the table and gave the whole mechanism a good clean.

It says in the manual not to dismantle the table because it needs a special tool to assemble it. I now have some nuts which I cant put back on the runners, however the runners seem to be threaded so it doesnt seem to make any difference.
