As for the delivery, our ship was a few days late, and the container just became available Friday. The trucking company is picking it up on Monday and should have it delivered on Tuesday (read: tick tock, tick tock...).
Any installation / preparation tips you might have to offer? Thanks!
Hi Cici - thanks, I'll let you know if I have any questions. |
Hi Jay,
Tomorrow is the big day!!! Try to get some sleep tonight... lol
The setup should go smooth, just follow the directions the best you can. Make sure there are no air bubbles in the tube water too. Sometimes they are a stinker to remove. I would fill the chiller and tube before you strap the tube down tight, in case you have to tip it to coax one out.
I don't have auto-focus but it is my understanding (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that the "Datum" button is what activates that feature, so make sure you have the laser head parked in an area where the table coming up will hit the a-f probe/plunger. In other words, if you have the laser head parked in the upper left corner and would hit datum, the table will keep rising and won't stop because it would miss the plunger and could plow into the lens tube. Remember, that big red EMERGENCY STOP button is there for a reason... lol Hope you never need it though.
G. Weike does an excellent job of crating these machines up for shipping, so hopefully everything will be in great shape when it arrives. You will have enough plywood and Styrofoam from the crate to build an addition on your home. (kidding).
That's all I can think of right now. Good luck to you!
