Need Help!- Looking for Spur Gears Files for laser cutting

Hi guys,

Do you know where I can find Spur Type of gears files in different ratios?

Or point to a free software that I can design gears to cut on my laser machine?

You could use Google SketchUp with the involute spur gear plug-in, and then export to dxf using the stl/dxf export tool.

There is also a Gears option in Inkscape. Only issues I've found is that the gears are scaled bigger than actual gears which may be what you need/want. You can export in several formats including DXF.
