| Hello, Niklas First of all do you have good grounding? If yes and you are sure in grounding quality - check belt tension. If everything is OK with belts - check motors. How it was happened - from the beginning (first job) or after certain time of running? Do you have possibility re-write your firmware? Last edited by Litografa; 08-01-2009 at 08:01 AM. |

| Better make separate grounding for laser. I don't know how it possible in Sweden, but in Lithuania we have copper bus in each electrical distribution panel (in office, home and etc). If you have laser in some kind of industrial building - copper band schould be inside wall - usually 45 cm from floor (but not sure that this is international standart - work in many countries well). Firmware is programm which is inside your motherboard. On GCC lasers you can upgrade/re-write firmware from your PC. I expect that this feature schould be in your laser also. |

| Niklas, It is difficult to see from your picture, but you say the line in X direction is not straight. Do you mean it is wavy? I would check the Y-axis does not have excessive play (movement) in it, due to a loose belt, gear or coupling. Are you sure the material is not moving, either from cutting or vibration? The other thing I would check is the lens assembly (head), to ensure it is not loose and able to move on the ways. If it can twist this needs to be adjusted. Zax. |

In what way is it inconsistent? I can't tell from your image. It looks a bit like the line is thicker at the left side than at the right. Is this what you mean? |

| Thank you for all help i test to put down a kopperpole in the ground and attatch my groundcable to it and it do no diffrense. I attach 2 picture of a work i did in my machine and i also attach my cutfile if any can se if it is samthing wrong there. i do my cadwork in Rhinoceros and save it too .AI and open it in Coreldraw X3 and save it as .PLT open it in my laserprogram and save it as .MOL then cut it. The program is golden sign53. i tested to use laserinput in corel draw X3 but ven i have set my start point in upper right corner on my workpeace and click start the laser got crasy and in fast movment too right and bouns in the stop then too the back of my mashine same there. Can this have same factors i mean in drivebelt? My workpeace is clamp dawn with scoth tejp and i have check my head and if i move it i will move the hole trolle the small flex is the tollerense in the rollers on the guidelines. and yes it is a wavy line i say it differ 1mm too each side in a wavy pattern. I was going to suggest that one or more of the rollers on which your head trolley might be damaged, non-circular, off centre, or have some dirt on it. However if there is slack such that the trolley can wobble, that is probably the problem. My machine, a different model, has some small screws that can be used to adjust this such that there is no play in the trolley. If your head/trolley moves in the X direction on the beam, there should be no play in the Y direction. |

| Hello Niklas, when all the power is off, check (by hand) The x-axis and Y-axis, when you try to move for- and backwards. Is there a little gap (movemend??)? Possible is a screw on the gear off your steppermotor is loose, or to loose. I think its a mechanical problem. Pierke |

| Ok guys pierke Now i have tested my gap and i will say that if i try to move it it vill move the belt no gap or movment that i can se i check my steppmotor it seams ok. Luan i have check my rollers clean it and test to move it and it seams to roll nicely whitout any tveaks or stop. Zax I tried to reduce speed no differense. I have tried to tighten my belts so now i have mayby 1mm slack ( quiet tight and hard) hw tight can i have them? I tested after it and i attach a picture of it no god result as you can see. i also attach my cutting file from earlier post is ther anything wrong with my program or file?
