MPC6515 Software issue/s.

Hi all,

I'm a long time viewer and I finally went all the way through ordering and importing my machine from XYZ-Tech (China). It was a very easy process and smooth delivery...

Anyway, I received my machine on Friday and have been setting it up for the past 36 hours. Everything is ok except for some software issues I'm having.

The machine has the MPC6515 Offline card.

First issues that I had, I quickly resolved it by reading a thread here. It was the DLL of the software did not match the machine firmware.

Now, I'm having another issue;after I load a new file that I created on the Lasercut 5.3 and try to use the TEST function, the machine comes up with SOFT STOP error.

I tried to do everything from this thread http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...477#post571477 but it still does not work.

The machine still has a sample file which had been loaded at factory and this file works.

Edit: I also noticed that when I do DOWNLOAD CURRENT file to the machine, the laser speed and power are not updated.

Any help?

I resolved my issue with a bit of trial and error.

The Machine Code in the software was different from the one in the machine.

Now it works!

New problem now: When I enter text in the Lasercut software, the text reads from right-to left instead of being left-to-right.

Any idea why?

There's a "Mirror" button. Could that be selected maybe?

We just imported a 130 w laserr from china and have exactly the same problems. The software reads the file ... sends it to the display panel on the laser but when we press start it goes peep peep peep... "soft down" Did you ever manage to solve your problem. I am female and somewhat techno challenged so please speak plain english when you reply.....:-) Ronel
