Hi all Ill start this thread for guides and references for laser engravers and hope others will add to it for references for people trying new equipment or project For my input these are setting for redsail machines as guides for different power and speed setting.Check the power u need and it will give u a guide to what is needed and what it can do. Remember these are only guides but will give people a starting point. Ie... If you need to cut say wood and u need to know how deep you can cut for different wattage just see max depth for each one and it will give u and idea Laser Machine Specification Reference Settings (I think 20 is max speed so u can work % from that) (Not sure on the amps as mine works from % but if someone know can they say ) M300: Engrave Cut Material Current Speed scan gap Thickness Current Speed Wood 9MA 14-16 0-2 (3mm) 1A 1 Leather 7MA 14-16 0-2 9MA 3 Rubber 9MA 10-14 0-2 NOT GOOD Jeans 8MA 14-16 0-2 9MA 3 Acrylic 8MA 14-16 0-2 (2/3mm) 1A 1 Bamboo 1.3A 14-16 0-2 NOT GOOD Double layer 9MA 14-16 0-2 (1.5mm) 1A 1 Marble 9MA 14-16 0-2 NOT GOOD M300 bitmap engrave: Usually speed is between 12-16, power is between 5MA-1A, and scan gap is 2 or 3 (REFER TO CHART DONE BY SKIPW AS IT DEPEND ON YOUR DPI AND MANY OF US HAVE APPRIEATED SKIPW's DPI CHART .) You cannot cut with a bitmap file. M500.M700.M900 (vector graph) Depths Engrave Cut Power Speed scan gap Power Speed Wood (5mm) 55% 400 0.025 70% 3 Leather (1.2mm) 45% 400 0.03 70% 10 Rubber (2mm) 90% 150 0.025 95% 3 Jeans (1mm) 55% 400 0.03 70% 20 Acrylic (5mm) 60% 400 0.025 85% 1.5 Bamboo (2mm) 65% 300 0.025 75% 5 Double layer (1.5mm)55% 400 0.025 70% 7 Marble 50% 400 0.025 NOT GOOD M500.M700.M900 (Bitmap) Usually speed is between 300-400, power is between 50%-70%, and scan gap between 0.05-0.09. You cannot cut with a bitmap file Laser Cutting Machine 80W (C120, C150, X1201) Depths Cut Material Power Speed Acrylic (5mm) 85% 3 (8mm) 90% 2 (10mm) 95% 1.5 Wood board (5mm) soft one 80% 8 Double layer (1.5mm) 70% 9 Laser Cutting Machine 100w(C120+, C150+) Material Power Speed Acrylic (5mm) 90% 5 (8mm) 90% 3 (10mm) 90% 2 Wood (5mm) soft one 80% 10 Double layer (1.5mm) 70% 10 Notice: All the settings above are for Reference. With wear and tear from use the power of tube will decrease, and machine parts will also be wearing away during use. So it will needs some changes on the setting according to situation. The above is just a reference when we do settings using that material. So settings always needs changes when met different requirements from different customers, such as different thickness and stiffness of different materials, and others. But it should give people a starting point to try Shadow Sorry all the gaps closed up i have to re edit tommorow |

I've got a 600x 900 model of this I got from an estate sale at a good price. Needed to get a replacement tube which I got from JH Laser, direct from China. The manual calls it a Radium Laser Engraving Machine. The software is called DSP 4.0 Anyone know the original manufacturer? It has the same design as many- laser tube across the back with a panel for a longer, more powerful tube on the right. The frame and doors are all flush all around. The electronics are all in the right side of the machine, with the high voltage supply mounted on the back wall. |
