Hi I have just dismantled the laser head on my chinese 9060 machine to clean / inspect the focus lens. I have found that the lens is quite badly scratched in the focal area from what clearly must be a very rough assembly line! looks like it has been 'cleaned' with emery paper!!! A few questions if anyone can assist:- Lens is approx 19.75mm dia x 2.75mm thk. i am assuming this is focal length 55mm lens - from what point in the thickness is the focal length measured? Does the length from the final 45degree mirror to the lens have any bearing on things? The machine has been working ok, with reasonable results but since the lens is scratched i am assuming that this is be to the detriment of the cutting beam quality. - can anyone recommend a supplier of replacement lens? ( i am based in the UK ). I ordered the machine with a complete spare set of optics but, alas, these were omitted from my shipment! Are other lenses available? ie different focal length? if so, are these more suited to different jobs? recommendations for lens cleaning solution? Many thanks in advance for any help. regards KP , Scotland. |

One free advice: We are selling GCC lasers. Very often owners of chinese lasers buy from us original GCC mirrors and install them on their lasers. Price is much higher but quality and durability is also much higher. Unfortunately owners of chinese lasers do not buy lenses from us I don't know why

Shane, I can't thank you enough for the advice. I read this and contacted Chris at HPC Laser as one of my Chinese machines needed a new tube and I wanted to learn how to fit it and line it up properly. Even though I didn't buy my machines from him he suggested taking the machine up to him which I did. The guy is a genious ! He fitted a new tube and got it working better than it ever has. I think I'll buy my next machine from him as some of the machines he has look superb and the backup service he offers is second to none. Tel 01274 870772 http://hpclaser.co.uk/index.php?main...&products_id=8 To add my penneth to the Chinese Laser debate I had demos on several UK and USA lasers then went mad, took a risk and imported a Chinese laser cutter over 2 years ago for about one fifth of the price. It worked perfectly so I bought another one over a year ago and they are both working perfectly. I know a bit about electronics and it is not difficult to work out how they work. I take safety extremely seriously as a belt from one of these or a laser beam in the eye could seriously spoil your day ! All in all my attempt to buy one get one (or more like 4) free has been a great success. At Chris's prices you don't need to go through the hassle of importing machines and providing your own backup like I did. It really is as easy as his website says it is.

Hello Shirley, It's brand name is "LS200 JSM40", it looks same as "Rabbit HX40A", it runs with Newlydraw 1.5 from www.0123.com.cn. Software itself isn't bad, i'm just bothered by it's usb-crypt dongle. I need DXF import and BMP engraving, all drawing is done on another computer. Do You have somethig that fits ?

I own a china laser engraver, and the company supplied me with 3 different lenses with focal points of 45mm, 55mm and 75mm. on my machine using the 45mm focal lens, and I found that on my lens if I measure 45mm from the oval part of the lens to the surface of the material, I get the best results. This is my laser head, I made a special tool for measuring, mine didn't come with any so I made it similar to others on the internet, "it drops when it reach 45mm distance"
