for Metal Engrave

I know that the Thermark LMM6000 is necesary for engrave over metal media, but can I use an alternative of this, where I live no way to find this coating

Hi Jim, I have not tried this but I have seen pics of results using cold galvanizing spray paint like this... http://www.rustoleum.com/product.asp...ct_id=28&SBL=1 Apparently you need to do two passes. Not sure why but the samples I saw took two passes. With one pass the marks would scrub off and with the second it was on pretty solid. I have bought some of the above paint to try but have not yet had a chance to get to it. You may be able to find something similar. I know welding shops have it in brush on form to touch up after welding galvanized steel. Dave
