Is there an easy way to set the origin on a rabbit laser cutter? I want cut images on a piece of paper so registration is important. If I’ve moved the head for a new project and then want to return to an old project I would like the laser to start from exactly the same position as I’ve made a jig to hold the pieces of paper in an exact position. There must be a standard to way to deal with this issue. I’ve played around a bit with the Datum but I guess I don’t understand it. It seems as though when I press the datum button it doesn’t always return to exactly the same position. Brian |

I was in the same boat as you till I gave up and do a practice run, then set my final piece. I believe the "Datum" bottom sends the laser head to the top right hand corner. Hopefully someone can add to this problem. |
