Laser source don't work

Hello, I'm Mari from Colombia.

It's my problem: I connected a C80 Redsail engraving machine to 220V. I use the LaserCut Ver 3.18 but when I do "Close Laser" on the software or when I push the Start bottom on the frontal side of the machine, the ten pins data cable starts to burn it.

I don't know what to do. I suspect that I have a wrong connection but I don't have any manual different to the software management.

Please Please Please help me. Excuse my Paisanglish.

Ahhh, the mechanical function is fine... I can move the motors according to the software orders. The problem is only the beam.

check the tube. maybe cracked. don't forget to start cooling water first for 15minutes before start the laser.
if okay, check the power cable to the tube. Usually they not plug it on shipping for safety. (plug it when machine is off!!)
it's happen on my machine. i almost scream when see my laser not lighting. i check all cable, and found that.
also make sure the machine run on 220Volt not 110 Volt.

Hello

I want show you how I connected the machine. Please saw the attachement

The photo of the burned element is the next. How you can see it’s burned. There are the things of the machine that have any bad connection and I hope that you send me a connection diagram about this. I don’t have other manual different to the User Manual DSP5.0 V1.0 where don’t say anything about the cabling and installation of the elements like this printed circuit.

Everything thing seems ok but no laser beam come out. I checked the water flux on the tube and the alimentation from the source but they’re fine. I don’t have laser beam in the tube. The tube alignment is fine.

The distance between the laser head and the material is fine.

Today, when I check the water flux in the laser, I did “Print” in the software and the printed circuit in the backside of the front panel of the machine was burned with more damages in its structure.

Please Help Me! I hope that you send me an assembly manual that describes me the connections that I should do because the printed circuit is burned and I suspect that its connection is wrong.

Waiting for your reply,

An Stupid Mistake

Hello,

Resolute Problem:

The mirror was in wrong alignment: for this reason the beam aimed to the control panel. ¡Stupid mistake uh?!

Thanks to a coincidence I put my hand in the circuit when the beam was on (to touch if the circuit was hot) and my hand was burned... a little, don't worry.

The good notice is that i checked all connections based in the attachment.
The attachment is the C150 connection diagram. I share this document because it can be a good tool for troubleshooting.

Thanks to all
