Has anyone tried vector scoring stained glass on the laser instead of using the usual hand cutting wheel? I tried it and it did work for straight lines and gentle curves, but for a more drastic curve it will break randomly. I was using speed 25, power 100, Frequency 5000 at 600 dpi on my 45 watt. Even tapping after scoring didn't work. |

Maybe this aproach will work with laser. Make multiple scoring lines in glass, and break away little by little. Pino |

| Scoring with a tool is better than scoring with a laser for glass. The tool produces a 'V' shaped break line whereas the laser produces a 'U' shaped break line. There are other differences but I have tried both methods and for me the tool wins hands down. Tweakie.
