I too was wondering about the tube life but more concerned that my back up tube will lose gas while it is awaiting use! Does anyone know if it is possible to get the CO2 laser tubes in the US? It will take quite some time if it is shipped to me direct from China. Plus I think shipping cost to Hawaii might be very expensive for just a tube.
