But YOUR KNOWLEDGE is not = zax15uk or my knowledge. I personally and 99% sure that zax15uk also - never buy this laser. Reason is simple - it's not equipment and for us this is visible very easy.

You have one laser and one problem. But I have contacts with at least 10 unlucky buyers of this metal scrap. And I know that if you will engrave on it - in few weeks you will have much more problems - with lens, with mirrors, with cooling, with tube, with precision, with rollers and etc. YOU CAN'T MAKE MONEY WITH THIS DEVICE

So I want repeat once more:
On YOUR place I will buy small brand laser like GCC Venus 12 Wt - the price will be about 5500 Euro and you will have working device with perfect cutting/engraving possibilities, warranty and etc. When you will understood technology and will be sure that you need it, you can easily sell 12 Wt laser and buy for example Mercury 25 Wt which is suitable for 90% of all needs.

If you are out of this budget - look on slightly better deals from well known suppliers from China like Rabbit, York and others. You will find a lot of information/experience here. Today your PM will be full from proposals .

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY FOR NOTHING. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE MAKE CHOCOLATE FROM S....T
alrighty then. you have told me what i thought all along, i bought a piece of s---. same machine just different seller. who was very helpful at beginning, even called to make sure was all connected right. but manual that i got was not for this engraver and when ask questions, just not much help.
zac on this site has been more help than seller.
now after a year still trying to work with it.
same pro. don't know what every thing means
what is scan speed, cut speed , scan delay, cut delay & line gap and how do i get the right sittings?
i do well with victor but still having big pro. with raster.
want to do photo's and landscapes.
know this is lenghty but any help will really be welcomed.
thanks

have you been able to come up with good fix?
i have same machine but from different seller who at first seamed good about setup but when ask about settings for photo's got no help.
zac on this site has been a lot of help but still can't do photo's . starts off fine but then jumps and jerks and have to stop it.
so if you have come up with any solutions would love to hear it.
thanks

Hello adayofjoy.
I also bought a laser machine recently. And also I have problems with the photos. Probe and reinstall the software (newlyseal) and several image file formats.
In the photos the start doing well, but at some point start to jump up and spoil it.
I am attaching a photo to see as is.
I am in contact with the seller to fix this.

To do what happened to black and white image with corel, but do not get jobs as the previous photo.
He obtains better results working with Paint and bearing the image 100Kb. Then what happened to black and white with corel, but I have a good definition.
Can not seem to work with large files.

larger files is also my problem . i can do a 4 x 4 fine but the same picture in a 8 x 6 jumps all over the place. i don't have coral but have paintshop pro. i also downloaded a image file called irfanview.com . that has helped. for the last few days i have been doing all the adjustments in paint then pulling it up in irfanview and it does all the size conversions for me. ( i guess i'm not smart enough to do them my self, though i thought i was doing it right) then i send it to newlydraw and burn.
any way things are better. the download for irfanview is free so give it a try.
let me know. this site has really helped me a lot.

The problem that the laser does not respond to speed and I need more slowly.
i have your machine, software... and problem

When you need cutting slowler, you only can cut it several times until you get it. But the machine does not start cuttin in the same place, so the best solution is copy and paste the same drawing in the same place. The machine will cut it the times you copy and paste, and it will do it perfect.
Is true that is a very cheap machine with little quality, but i can make all i need.
