Info Required For Acrylic Cutter

Can anyone give me more information on the type of laser I need to cut acrylic sheets about 5mm thick so that I get a clear finish on the cut. Preferably I want to build the table and the laser. Any information will be appreciated.

cut acrylic sheets about 5mm thick , i think you can use 80w laser cutting machine, can you tell me the width and length of your acrylic sheets, then i can suguess you a type of machine in our factory, i you would like.

The average size I would need to cut would be about 500mmX500mm but I was thinking of a table size of 1000mm X 1000mm so I would be able to mutiple pieces at once. Also would I would like to find out if a laser cutter would be able to make small holes as well (approx 1.5mm).I would be cutting 3mm / 4mm and 5mm acrylic.

35 watts will cut that. My Epilog 40watt will cut 1/4" acrylic no problem.
