Hi every one! I'm smiling here about all your troubles!!! Ja Ja!! The same I Have!!! I tougth i was the only one!
I bougth a china laser from Zhongtai Laser, the person in charge is a very nice person he answered all my emails for about 30 days after I received the machine. Now I have it working !!!
If you have all mounted, start again, take out the card, disconect everything, erase all the files you have downloaded start your PC let it open all programs and after shut it down again.
DOWNLOAD THE PROGRAM TO THE HARD DISK IN C!!!( it doesnt work well in D)
Now install the card again, and continue the procedure in the order the manual says, install the soft dog software, etc.
If your laser is not burning at the end in the pointer, it is not alligned , so you have to fix it, is not easy the first time but after you do it you can realize is very easy.you have to go mirrror by mirror , first center the first mirror positioning the laser tube, after you have it you vcan go to the second mirrror, b ut this one has to be changed to fit the last mirrror, then you put the pointer, third mirror (x axis?)close to the 2nd mirrror and burn a piece of tape, center it the best possible and after take it to the other end(rigth enbd) if it is not centered move the second mirror to center it and return close to the 2nd mirror if it is centered you are done! Now you have to put a piece of tape at the bottom of the lense and to center it you move the 3rd mirro thats all.
If any one want to have a video or a manual, ican send it.
NOw I have a problem with the decreasing of the power of the laser beam, the chinnesse guy tell me the sealed tubes are lossing power anyway you used or not, it depends on the time , is it true??? The tube life is about 7 months???
About the use of the software, I have two, one very easy , and the other used as a patch of corel draw or autocad. not so easy but works well.
Hope my info is usefull ,

It was the software

Hi everyone, just updating you guys on my progress

ok after emailing china back and forth for 2 months telling them the software was not correct as the machine was one version and the computer software was another version, they finally got it through there heads that YES THEY WERE WRONG and it was the software.

Ok so they sent me the correct version and I have installed it. The laser beam is now beaming bright and everything looks great except its still not burning. I figure this is to do with alliging the mirrors as I havnt done this yet as I was just trying to get everything compatable first

I am going to try to do this on the weekend when I get time so I will let you all know how i go
I may email you lamicron on that video setup of the mirrors if need be

Fingers crossed

THANKYOU EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ME

Hello Kimberly,
I am jack from wklaser, I want to see where you bought the machine from? Directly from us? Or just from our distributer? Why not directly contact the supplier? If you can not find the supplier who you bought from, please contact me directly by emaik, I am sure I can help you. My email box is wklaser@yahoo.com

Thanks

Hi Jack,

No I brought straight from the manufacture JWST, not a reseller. thanks anyway

Everything is going well, it was the software not matching the whole time. They sent me the new mpo3 card and everything is now working. All I am doing now is trying to figure out adjusting the mirrors. After Ive down that I should get a cut as now I am not cutting through the plastic the whole way.
It is engraving and making the hole perfect though

Hi FERCHO,
take a look to the attached procedures in CorelDraw, you can follow it to convert your photos to a correct B&W that can be used in your machine software.

Hi FERCHO,
Download the attached zip file and try to engrave the BMP inside it by your machine, then tell me the result, but don't try the jpg file, it is for illustration only.

Hi,

As I know there is no direct information to show how to get a good results in engraving images by using any software, but in general the concept is to convert the image to gray scale mode then black&white , or black&white directly, but the software must have a verity of options to use when converting to black&white, this can be found in Adobe photoshop & CorelDraw, for example (Halftone, error diffusion, ordered, line art, stucki, ...).
choosing one of these methods will give a deferent engraving effects according to the pattern & number of dots produced.
the steps can be as follows:
-the image resolution should be 300dpi to get a good result
-if the resolution is less than 300dpi then rescan or resample the image
-convert the image to black&white using diffusion Dither, stucki, or Halftone method to get the best details on the engraved image.
-convert the image to black&white by any other methods to get artistic effects on the engraved image.
-every image need some fine tune before or during conversion.

Steps in CorelDraw(12 & 13):
->import the image
-> select the image
- -> select Bitmaps Menu
- -> select Mode
- -> select Black& white 1-Bit
->select conversion method [stucki] and vary the intensity

Steps in Photoshop:
->open the image
-> select image Menu
- -> select Mode
- -> select Grayscale
-> select image Menu
- -> select Mode
- ->select Bitmap
->select method [Diffusion Dither] and output 300 pixels/inch

Best Luck
