![]() Not the best way for a day to end that's one of three brought in by a big UK distributor. Not China's fault (they packed correctly), Not shippers fault (hell they drove the boat just fine), Not delivery guys fault (It arrived where it was supposed to)...So either the loaders ChinaSide or the offloaders UKSide decided to use the crates as a football resulting in close to £20,000 worth of scrap metal. Both are saying it's the others fault..... That leaves the obvious question? who pays? Thankfully this is a big ,financially stable distributor (HPC Laser) who can cope with a little bump like this easily......imagine if you buy from a "guy next door" business and this happens....will you get the support you need sorting it out or will everybody play "pass the buck" Something to consider ![]() best wishes Dave |

| I think it's not such a difficult problem. Insurance company should pay. Did the Chinaside pay the shipping insurance before shipping? You know, 100% machine value shipping insurance for 1 machine is only about USD 20. I pay for each machine before shipping out to my customers. And also the way of packing is also important, we rarely met this problem. |
