Well i thought this afternoon to be sure with the engraving to check the alaignment from the mirrors. the lid from the laser tube dropped and closed with a slamming sound. checked the laser tube but no cracks or something and test fired seem to be working. back to alaignment again. did the steps as shown in this movie then i wanted to engrave something and nothing happend. so i checked again, kept a piece of thermo paper in front of mirror 1 ( the one near the laser tube) nice round dot. then piece infront of mirror 2. also a nice dot mirror 3 with and without lens gives a strange shape. also because i pulled out mirror 3 and placed it on a piece of paper some small scratches are visible now so i thought stupid of me but ok thats the problem. so i turned the mirror (with small scratches) and the weird shape still stayed on the same place nothing changed. i think if the small damaged mirror is the problem you must see a difference if i turn the mirror right ? scratches are on a different location then. here is the move whats going on..... sometimes i just think why o why did i bought a laser. i have more trouble with it then i had use for it ![]() anyone have experienced something like this ? |

| removed the laserhead just a moment ago because i just could not stand it that the machine was broken. cleaned everything up and placed it in the benchscrew to make things straight. apperantly it worked because i now have a normal concentrated beam again. sorry for the trouble but maybe if someone experience this also i think the beam reflected somehow on the aluminum and made a strange beam. topic may be closed. |
