Looking at a Kern 400 Watt HSE or a Vytek L-star 400 Watt. Whats your Opinion? Kerns is about $10,000 more. Nobody has any opinions? Speak up! Thanks, Mitch Last edited by plasticman1; 12-21-2011 at 10:06 PM. |

| Have you seen or used either in person? When shopping for machinery in that price range, I've found that goes a long way. They may even be willing to fly you out to their factory or sales center - I've had a CNC company offer that to me. What specific requirements do you have for the machine? Raster? Vector? Heavy lifting bed? Ventilation? The quality of either machine should be fine, both have a good reputation for customer care. I expect to see (at least) Vytek at the upcoming ISA show in Orlando, probably Universal and Epliog as well. Kern may be there as well. Good chance to see several high end manufacturers in once place. |
