I have a LS3020 Desktop Laser, which came with a copy of NewlyDraw ... no issues when I am etching or cutting stuff from images which are prepared or simple shapes, but I am in need of drawing something myself, similar to the following image. For my image, I only need maybe four 'fish scales' across, but for the life of me, I cannot get the image to line up perfectly. (a) any tips on how to get things to line up correctly? (b) should I be using different software? |

| The LS3020 uses Newlydraw driver board so you will still need to use that to send the jobs to the cutter. You can use the co-ords in ND to position the drawings or best use something like Draftsight (free) to draw the vectors and then import into ND to cut. There is also a forum dedicated to LaserScript Machines which you masy find useful ;-) Dave |
