As all users know ,when you work with a laser engraving machine, it will make a lot of waste, if used improperly. Especially processing irregular products, and the new material you not familiar with.

Use it properly to avoid wasting stuff?
Are you wanting to know about "nesting" , that is , fitting the most parts you can into the piece of material you have?

Smile How to avoid waste

Generally laser engraving machine’s standard configuration always with a red pointing device. When processing irregularly products, you should first observe the carving position with Red light positioning, then do formal process. For material not seen before, should follow the power principle from low to high.

Hope it can help you.good luck to you

I don't know what you mean either..
Only way you will learn what settings amd how best to operate the laser without wasting or destroying stuff is by practising and writing down what works for different stuff. Get lots of scraps and try different things on them
