problem with cutting in portrait and landscape

Hi.

I have a big order for my machine and when i did the sample cuts, they were in portrait mode and i had no problem.

Now i got my artwork laid out in landscape mode so as to be able to cut multiple pieces at the same time. When i did some cuts today, some part of the artwork does not cut through. I tried many times but with consistent failure.

My machine is an Exlas 1280 100W.
settings are the same for both cuts.
speed 180
power 95
corner power 95
Optimize
inner to outer
automation cut director.

I cut a jig out of 6mm mdf before starting the job and it cut perfectly. Mirrors are good. Table is level. Water ok. Nothing is different.

It seems like lasercut 5.3 is firing the laser not enough in these parts.

Any help?
Could it be anything to do with Cnr Acc or Curve disperse (what is Cnr Acc? In mm or % of actual speed?)

Many thanks for any input.

What happens if you try a much lower speed with lower power? Where exactly doesn't it cut through, at start or end of the cut?

It cuts at the start and when the speed increases it only scores the material. I tried to drop the speed from 180 to 150 mm/s but it still does the same.

I did have some better results when i changed the corner acceleration from 120 to 80. I am now cutting with corner acceleration set at 60.

It seems worse where you can see the individual pulse of the laser. I tried to refine Curve Dispense, but it does not seem to improve.

Still not perfect. I have to go manually through the uncut bits.

today i did some changes and am now cutting with corner acc set at 50.

it seems to cut very good.
i increased cutting speed from 180 to 400 but the process time remains the same.

it looks like corner acc is a very important parameter when cutting.

anyone has an english explanation for this parameter?
