What Laser engraver is best??

I'm looking to buy a laser engraver to make custom placards on black anodized aluminum, from .025" to .040" thick. What is a good laser engraver? Dont need anything much bigger than about 12"x12".+/-
here is a sample pic of what I'm trying to make...


Also maybe the process is done by photo etching. Anyone got any ideas?

Whatever your budget can handle. Pretty vague request without knowing what you can spend, how tight your tolerances are, how many you need to make a day...

Budget, under $25,000. Not really an issue.
Probably won't use it to make more than about 50 per year. Mostly small sizes, around 2"x4".
I'd like to be able to do the artwork in Photoshop.

i asked our sales engineer, yag laser can engrave on the material you mentioned, mainly 50W and 75W, etching machine can also do this process, but with higher power, if you are interested in, you can send me your email address, our sales engineer can explain in details of the laser engraving machines my company sell, and introduce prices.

Why would you want to spend $000's on a machine that will only do 50 2"x4" plates a year ? Farm it out...
