| Hello Guys I have a mossberg o/u sporting shotgun. I would like to engrave on the stock. What should I concern? I have seen somebody engraving and it looks very bad. What speed and power to use? Do I need to finish the engraved area somehow? Thank You |

| I engraved on my 10-22 stock a couple of years ago and it didn't turn out too bad. I think I ran this at 40 power and 200 speed on my 80w 6090. The only thing I did to it afterwards was to take some black paste shoe polish on a tooth brush and work a light coat into the engraving to darken it a little more. You could also use Lin-Speed, True Oil or straight linseed oil I would think. Hope that helps! |
