Software Dongle

I would like to first apologize in advance for my ignorance.
I am not the owner of this machine I am his Neighbor his computer buddy.
My friend bought a Laser Engraver/cutter ( I think that what it is, it is a huge coffin box). I do know it is from China
Any how it came with software on a disk.
Coreldraw12
Lasercut 5.3
It installs the Dongle Drivers and seems to install all software properly.

The issue I think he has and I am looking for confirmation and a possible fix is that he did not get the Dongle. The person he bought it from sent him these files

651541013.FMW
65153006.hdw

in a email and told him to put them on a USB thumdrive. Now my experience with a Dongle is that this cannot be done.
If it can be done does anyone know the process?

He needs the actual dongle correct?
If he cannot get it from the person he bought this machine from where can he get it?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide me

You may buy original Dongle from Leetro.

They do not sell Dongle alone.
They make MPC6515 and LaserCut software.
Just ask them.

I've had a grand total of one email from Leetro.

It was from:

Zhao Jie
Leetro Automation Co., Ltd.
Tel: +86 28 85149190
Fax: +86 28 851877747

and the email address was:
tech@leetro.com

This was in 2009, but the name and email URL may be of some use to you if it's still valid.

The two files sent by the seller, are to update the firmware of the laser and they are indeed put on a USB stick which is then plugged into the laser within (IIRC) 10secs or so of powerup.

But if you are going to upgrade, you'll be better to wait for the latest version of them to come with your upgrade kit.

And yes, you do need a dongle to run Lasercut, and the seller should have supplied it with the machine. (It plugs into the computer of course, not the laser, so perhaps he just forgot to take it out)

The last price quote i got from leetro a few days ago lists the dongle and laser cut software at 242 usd.
I don't know if you can buy it on it's own, i have to say they are not the easiest company to deal with.

I have been trying to get some tech support from them but it just ain't happening coz i bought the controller from one of there dealers and not them. When i asked if i could have a price for a replacement it's nearly three time the price i have been buying them for, oh yeah they want to charge a 20usd fee for selling it to me !

Anybody know how to jtag or factory reset a mpc6535 ?
or where to get a mpc 03 ?
