Hi All, I have finally figured out how to get a WMF to cut by putting it in Corel and exporting it as a DXF file and importing it into newlydraw, the problem I have is when I export the corel file I make all the lines from hairline to none and when its in newlydraw the laser still goes over the cut line twice and not once like I want, can anyone help me fix this????? Im cutting fine .5mm hips and two passes is too much. Cheers and thanks all. |

| As geekinesis recommended there is probably a fill or other effect causing the dxf to have double paths, but in Newlydraw just select the outline and hit delete. If there is a double you'll still see the outline, if not, undo the deletion and repeat on the next shape. You may have to ungroup first. Zax. |

| hi, actually, looking closer at the wmf file, its a problem with the way wmf represents lines. If the line is bold it actually draws two lines close to each other with a thin fill between. so this is what was making the double cut. I guess it depends which programme was used for drawing the artwork before exporting it as wmf
