Hi everyone,

I'm trying to engrave a fill and an image into acrylic. I feel like I've tried every combination of PPI, power and speed after getting the raster offset dialed in. I'm printing from illustrator to a testra driver for an emissions tech 100watt laser. This is a link to a pic I just took of some of the banding. Thanks to anyone who has an idea, this is due in a few hours...

Hi Tony,

That banding is extremely regular and may well be related to the image pixels not matching with the machine steps. May be an idea to read up on your dpi settings and image resolutions relating to your software and machine.
My problem was not regular banding and turned out to be related to an incoming power variation.
