Model Difference ULS 3.50 Or VLS 3.50

Hi, would anyone know if the systems "Universal Laser Systems" ULS 3.50

is the same as the "VersaLaser" VLS 3.50? or vice versa

They are both 24 x 12 and in the 30 watt model range (or higher).

The cabinets look the same the keypads looks the same.

I am asking because I may have a line on a 5 year old VersaLaser VLS 3.50 which may need a replacement laser cartridge and I am trying to source price for the replacement 30 watt cartridge or higher.

If anyone might know could you give me your two cents?

I believe they are the same model.The 3.50 platform is only available in the vls series.I think a recharge will cost you around 1000 USD but the core charge will be substantially higher but will only be billed to your credit card if original is not returned within their allotted time frame.Your best bet is to call their service department.They were extremely helpful when I was looking at buying a used machine.Although I have not used this service,they apparently have a free loaner program for the use of a power meter.True AAA service.

For this loaner program you mention...I'm assuming that is to measure what the output of the laser is?

I havent used any of these machines yet...so bare with me.

Yeah I'm thinking the machines are the same ..but just wanted to get other's ideas on it.

These are the same. You can use a ULR10, 25, 30 , or 50 watt laser on this system.
These would be exchange lasers.
The VLS3.50 is still a current built machine.
