Just currious is there any laser software out there that works well on chinese machines? I'm just kinda looking around and it seems every big laser mfg has their own in house laser software, and the only aftermarket one I've seen is Mach3. But I've heard it's not really well suited for laser? Does anyone out there use something other than the lasercut or newlydraw that came with their chinese laser? P.S. Rastering large photos is a big part of what I do, cutting is a small part. So it has to be able to raster well. |

| Most people use CorelDraw. There is a way to link Lasercut to Corel 12 so that you can cut from Corel. I personally do not like it. I do most of my drawing in Aspire/Vectric (which is a CNC software)and import in to Corel where I just convert in to DXF file that works in lasercut. I just import in to Lasercut on my computer that is connected to the Laser. Both my Laser and CNC are linked to a wireless network. |

We make our own laser software / control package, RetinaEngrave, and offer it as upgrades to DIYers as well as OEMs: Our software is unique in that it operates like the same as other high end USA made lasers in that we have direct printing. See our videos and more info here: Full Spectrum Engineering One of the keys in making excellent lasers is a competent technical staff. We now have three Stanford PhDs on staff and an additional PhD laser physicist trained in Denis R Hall's lab (the true gruru) who has authored dozens of scientific papers in CO2 laser technology. |

| Our software requires our control card. We offer direct drop in replacements with same connectors for NewlyDraw/Moshisoft and will offer the same for Leetro MPC6515. Making software alone for controlling Chinese equipment is probably not a profitable business considering the piracy rate in China. |

| We have drop in replacements for some models. Send us an email with the screenshots of your configuration inside lasercut 5.3 and we can tell you if it will work with the current version or you need to wait for the next release. FSL |

| Do you have a trial version of the software? I would like to see it's functions before I drop that much money into a replacement card for software that I may not like. I understand the software won't cut to my machine, but I just want to see it and see how it "feels" |

| No trial software but we offer 60 day money back guarantees on our upgrade cards minus shipping and handling. Someone that lays down money to buy tells us they are at least serious. Lasercut upgrade cards will cost more than other the NewlyDraw/Moshisoft upgrades. |
