I bought a chinese laser with a power of 60 watts. The guy I bought it from has little information about the laser, and I don't know what I should be able to expect as far as performance. Should a 60 watt laser be able to cut 1/4 inch acrylic or wood in one pass? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

| Yes, this should be no problem at all! I own a chinese 60 watt laser as well and i'm cutting acrylic all the time 3mm speed 13mm/sec power 90% 5mm speed 8 mm/sec power 90% 10mm speed 4 mm/sec power 90% It depends a little bit on the type of masking that is on the acrylic, but most of the time these settings work great. Happy lasing Ferry.......... |
