Trumpf TCL3030 cutting parameters for 3/8" Stainless

Can anyone give me their settings for cutting this material successfully? We've never cut this thickness for stainless before and what we tried was a disaster. Typically our code looks like this for a large contour for any material we do (9, "20525", 10,100) In this case, the "20525" would be for 18 gage stainless and the rest is just telling the laser to pierce and go right from the start of the leadin. Since we don't have the experience or training for this material, what do we need to do differently?

"20525" = technology table name
9 = sprintlas cutting with piercing
10 = normal piercing
100 = normal cutting

program should be with reduced lead in if you want to cut 10mm s/s

for new lasers:
(9,"ltt",10,110)
;lead in
(11,"ltt",0,100)
;cut rest of part

for old lasers:

(1,"ltt",10,110)
;lead in
(5,"ltt",0,100)
;cut rest of part

(ltt=laser technology table)

alum,ss and galv w/nitrogen

on a 2030 2000kw ive found that for ease most lead ins in nitro shoud be reduced to keep from plasmaing. and tweeking on the reduced setting can help. also at times i get the lead in to be curved not staight in. on alum i dont like reduced pierce i find full pierce has less likeleyhood to plasma. but latley im wondering about ramp cycles on the pierce to clean up the splater on cosmetic jobs. i cut .250 alum which im not supposed to be capable of. its slower than snail snot and not consistently reliable but as long as its not a large order i can get it done. also saying the cut was a disaster isnt enuff info. was it a cut at all? lol
