Hello All Our company is new to the forum and we are very interested in learning new techniques and sciences of the laser world. We are a manufacturer of laser cutting, welding, engraving and machining equipment in all sizes, laser types and configurations. For example, we build a 50x50 100W cutting system, turnkey for around $35,000. I see many posts on laser cutting plywood, we currently manufacture a system that cuts 3/4" thick ply with no problem using a 100W tube. Our machines are made right here in the good ol USA and we are proud of it. We look forward to the relationship with all of the community members. We have extensive knowledge in the field and are always willing to cut samples or discuss issues you may be having. Here are a few videos of some of the machines we build ... YouTube - Plywood Laser Cutting - Orlando FL - Focused Light Engraving YouTube - Laser Cutting Acrylic - Focused Light Engraving - Orlando FL YouTube - YAG Laser Engraving Aluminum - Orlando FL - Focused Light Engraving YouTube - Laser Engraving Plastic - Focused Light Engraving - Orlando FLThe cutting system is outfitted with the old optics in this video, we currently run 2" mirrors and a 1.5" focusing lens with multiple focal heights. The new cutting system design will use a laser mech laser delivery system with the laser mounted vertically, minimizing alignment and maximizing power. Thanks and safe lasing! After selling our laser 4x4' machine we are contemplating a new machine footprint. We would like to know if there is more of a market for a 2x2 or a 4x4 machine? We build brand new 4x4 machines with 100W Synrad tubes and off the shelf parts for $35,000. The 2x2 would help bring the cost down a few thousand, we are more concerned with footprint and material warping issues. Our current 100W Universal tube cutting system can cut up to 1" acrylic and 3/4" birch. Any suggestions or needs? The new machine will be stepper motor driven and include everything from the vacuum table, plennum, pin table, and 5" focusing optics.
