I am hoping to find a technician from GWEIKE who will resond to this. The power supply on my LG900 burned out and I just recieved a replacement from you although it cost me $130.00 in shipping charges to get it. I recieved the power supply today BUT it did not have a case. The motherboard you sent with no case will not fit in my old case because the setup on the new power supply motherboard is totally different as to the placement of the components. I've attached some pictures. I have notified GWEIKE about this problem tonight and I hope to hear back soon although I am not spending any more money for shipping because of this. I hope that they will rectify this situation for me. I've paid enough for something under warranty. My machine is only 4 months old. Techincian Questions??? ****************** I also recieved a schematic for the power supply from Michelle via email because I asked for one and I am very glad I did. 1) The wiring setup seems to be different, from the old one to the new one, if in fact the schematic I recieved is for the new motherboard power supply I now have (with NO CASE) Please see the pictures. Will I have to change the PLUG wiring configuration before I make the connection? It certainly looks like I will have to if this schematic is for the new motherboard?????? ![]() 2) This is a picture of the back of my old case along with notes about how the wiring seems to be different on the 6 pin plug. I need answers to the questions on the picture. ![]() This is a picture of the motherboard that I recieved from you today. It has NO CASE and will not fit in my old case because it is different. You can see that the 6 pin and 3 pin connectors for the wires are hard soldered to this new motherboard and can't be moved, so they will not fit in the case. The old motherboard is not the same... Please help me out as soon as possible on this matter. Thank you David Last edited by TheWorkshopGuy; 03-12-2010 at 08:10 AM. |

| To: GWEIKE Technicians, I have been dealing with MICHELLE. Please talk to her. She thinks you sent me the whole power supply but you did not. I DID NOT recieve the whole power supply from you. You only sent me the motherboard with NO CASE and this motherboard is different and will NOT fit into the old case. I NEED the Power Supply case that fits this motherboard or this replacement motherboard is useless to me. Also: The wires for the 6 prong male connector are already setup in the old configuration as shown in the 2nd picture below. The new one seems to be different and that is what I am talking about, if the schematic I was sent is correct and is for the new power supply???. Will I have to move around the wires to what shows on the schematic before plugging this in? The original MALE PLUG for the six prong connector is now set up to what shows in the picture below. H - L - P - G - IN - 5V .This is for my OLD Power Supply .....This schematic shows the same male connector but with different wiring positions for the six pins. H - L - P - IN - 5V - G Are these positions shown in the schematic correct for the new Power Supply??. I have to know this before I can plug it in once you send me the CASE that I need. If so you'd better tell this to anyone who gets a replacement power supply because without the schematic I would have just plugged it in not knowing that you've changed the terminal positions. Hi David, I suggest you just connect the wires according to marker on 6 prong connector (motherboard), there wiring position is right, The schematic is not exact correct as the actual position. For the 3 pin connector, I don’t know GWEIKE ‘s wire color for these positions, but make sure if you had connected earth wire with FG, inner conductor and live wire (AC wire)with L&N. I think you’d better ask for another case if it is available, Naked motherboard is ok but not nice as you know. Hope this can help you! ![]() Best Regards Mike Wang |
