Power needed for 1/4" plexiglas?

How much wattage is needed for cutting 1/4" plexiglas/acrylic cast/extruded?

Minimum 25 Wt, optimal 40-60 Wt for aluminium tube. Double digits for glass tube.

I have a 30 watt and it cuts it just fine. Might be a bit faster on a more powerful machine, but that's not always the case.

We have been doing some trails on our 2 and a half kilowatt Amada, we've only cut thinner stuff but I just wanted to add that using low pressure oxygen for assist gas you can get a very clean finish on the cut edge, using clear acrylic the cut edge is clear as well

80w CO2 glass tube, you can use power 90. speed 15
60w CO2 glass tube, you can use power 90. speed 8-10
