Default Laser tube hisses but does not fire

I've just changed a power supply on my laser cutter as well as a fuse at the main power to the machine.

Everything seems to be ok with this setup but now I just hear a hissing from the laser tube when I fire a test pulse but the laser doesn't fire. :/

Has anyone experienced this or know what the matter may be?

    J.

Hey Jaymez10, I appreciate it's been a while since you posted this but did you ever find out what was going on there? All the things you've posted sound similar to what I'm experiencing at the moment. It's like the tube is arcing at the positive end inside the silicone sealed connection. Thanks

Hi , if you replaced the power supply and it is not working ,making arcs at laser tube section , seems like your laser tube is damaged , need to replace it , only do not continue working/ sending pulses to prevent new laser power supply failure
    best wishes
