Default 40w laser tube powered by 50w psu ???

Hello guys. I ordered a k40 type laser machine and arrived with broken tube and faulty psu. The seller sent me again the parts but the power supply is 50w. The tube is the same as before 40w. My question is if the 50w psu will be ok for the tube or damage it or the only matter will be to be careful when adding up power from the control panel. Thank you

Just make sure you don't exceed the max recommended current. Best get a mAh to check

Thank you for the fast reply. Actually I was ready to make some modifications because the machine has that +/- percentage of power control panel and just a central on/off switch. I will add a mampere-meter in the middle of the cathode-psu wire and connect a laser/off switch to the interlock pins of the psu. Ok i will follow the recommended current for the laser tube. Cheers
