You do not need this info for anything. Every f.. chinese glass laser is TEM00. If not, it is a scrap.
Beam diameter? What the difference 5 or 7mm?
That is all.
Hello, I am designing a machine that will use multiple CO2 laser tubes. In order to design the optics I need some information on the characteristics of the beam generated by a CO2 laser tube. I am particularly interested in the Reci W4, although any representative tube will suffice.
I contacted Reci for any information on beam diameter at the output coupler, beam divergence and beam profile, still waiting for a reply. I have not found any such information on EFR or SDZ either. It strikes me as something that should be available from reputable manufacturers.
Would anyone have ballpark estimates for these parameters or any pointers?
Best,
Alex

Hello Alex,
You don't need such information about spot diameter, beam divergence and so on. If you laser tube is RECI W4, it's 1450mm 100w laser tube, you can use mirrors diameter 25mm and lens 20mm in your machine. The lens focal length depends the thickness of your cutting material.
We are laser tube factory, if you have any interest to our laser tube, just contact me.
