Hi All. I have a Kondia Powermill on my hands, and i could be interested in buying. It is very similar to this one,http://www.bwmachinetools.co.uk/mach...ck_number=8396 except is has plastic handwheels, an electric motor for feed on all 3 axes no DRO and apparently a defect electric motor for feed in one direction(assuming X axis). What i want to know is: How is the reputation on this machine? Are there any obvious weak points? How good a candidate is this machine for a CNC conversion later? Can anyone help here? It is one of the machines that are not so common here in DK, so i have no local guys to ask for advise. |
