    Change Speed with vfd

Have an older CNC Dynapath Delta 30 Chevalier and has adjustable speed thru belt. Have a 220 3phase in 220 3 phase out VFD. Am using a rotary converter. Want to install the VFD to auto control sppeed in program. Any help would be appreciative. Do not know where to start or finish.
    thanks

As a general rule to integrate a VFD into a CNC controller you require a ±10vdc analogue output from the controller or at least 0-10v+ together with an output to give you direction.
Also it is preferable to be able to configure the VFD outputs for Zero speed and at-speed to input to the CNC to hold up part program control until these inputs are satisfied.
One these are in place then you would need to scale the signal, either in the CNC or the VFD or both, so that the correct S value conforms correctly.
