| Mill/Drill vs. gantry Can I get similar results using the cnc design found at www.campbelldesigns.com (see picture at bottom of web page) as compared with a mill/drill as found in the www.homecnc.info (using an enco mill/drill)? I want to mill aluminum, but the mill/drill has limited travel space? Suppose I build the gantry out of mild steel instead of aluminum extruction. Will this gantry design with mild steel contruction be able to accurately mill aluminum? Thanks, |
