Parkson 2N mill. How to get table off?

    Hi Guys,

How do I get the table off this mill?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320138047197&ssPageName=STRK:MEUS:IT&ih=011

It won’t go through my unit door with the table on.

The bit I'm having trouble with is the end of the leadscrew with the graduated dial on it. I can't see how to get it off. There's no grub screw or anything apparent holding it on.

For UK persons... There's a text only For Sale, Wanted list where you can post questions as well as ads. Its been very helpful in the past but I've forgotten the URL. Does anyone know it?

    Cheers,

    Wilson.

Cant remember about the 2N and I`ve sold mine, but on the 3N you remove the handle, unscrew the locking collar for the dial and then you have to knock out the pin that holds the collar with the dogs on before you can remove the dial.
If you`re really stuck take the handle and bracket of the other end, remove the screws holding the bracket on at the dial end and unscrew the leadscrew complete with bracket from the machine. Then take the gib out and slide the table out. When re-assembling check the key is still in the leadscrew drive sleeve.
