2 axis is x and y, that is the table moves left and right, front to back. The third axis is generally Z, which moves the quill up and down. 4th would be the table moving up and down, 5th would be the head tilting, and so on. |

| Wouldn't that (4th - axis) be a rotary axis (A)?
