Is anyone using a Proto Trax MX2 with CAM software?

Does anyone know if you can transfer a CAM generated program via RS 232 into a retrofitted mill with a ProtoTrax MX2 controller?
    Cheers

    Prototrak MX2 and RS232

of course you can transfer programs from a computer to a Prototrak MX2 by using rs232 null modem serial cable.
.......i would recommend reading the manual. many Prototraks have a separate CadCam interface manual. the MX2 is a 2 axis machine so Fanac 6m code or Prototrak SWI code it can read. if you upload 3 axis Fanac gcode it will usually have problems translating Z axis commands and you will have to manually edit them.
